GDPR notice

Privacy notice

This notice applies to the lead-capture form on this site. It is written to satisfy the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who collects your data

The data controller is Adam Hájek, a natural person operating Curator pre-company-formation, based in the Czech Republic. Public profiles for contact verification: LinkedIn, GitHub. Operational contact for any data-related question: info@stelnos.com. The legal entity will transition to Stelnos s.r.o. once formed; this notice will be updated accordingly.

What we collect

  • Your email address.
  • Your stated intent (one of: launch notification, luminaire feature, funding, coworking, other).
  • Your optional free-text message.
  • The timestamp of your submission and your tick on the consent checkbox.

We do not use cookies for tracking. The only data stored in your browser is your theme preference (light or dark) in localStorage. No third-party analytics. No browser fingerprinting.

Why we collect it (purposes)

Each intent declares its purpose. Your data is used only for that purpose:

  • Launch notification — to email you when Curator becomes available.
  • Luminaire feature — to discuss including your luminaire products in Curator’s bundled catalog.
  • Funding — to discuss financial support of Curator’s development.
  • Coworking — to discuss working together on Curator or related projects.
  • Other — as you describe in your message.

Lawful basis

Your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), expressed by ticking the consent box and submitting the form.

How long we keep it

Submissions are retained until you ask us to delete them, until you unsubscribe, or until the stated purpose is fulfilled and there is no continuing reason to retain. You can request deletion at any time by replying to any email from us.

Who has access

The submission lands in a ProtonMail inbox under the controller’s personal control. No third parties access your data. ProtonMail is operated by Proton AG in Switzerland, which benefits from an EU Commission adequacy decision for transfers from the EU/EEA.

Your rights

  • Right of access — ask for a copy of the data we hold.
  • Right of rectification — ask us to correct any inaccuracy.
  • Right to erasure — ask us to delete your data.
  • Right to withdraw consent — the consent you gave can be withdrawn at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
  • Right to restrict processing — ask us to pause processing while we sort something out.
  • Right to data portability — ask for your data in a machine-readable form.
  • Right to object — tell us to stop processing for any reason.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in the Czech Republic: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů — uoou.cz).

To exercise any of these, reply to any email from us. The controller responds within one month per GDPR.

What we don’t do

  • No advertising trackers.
  • No sale, rental, or sharing of your data.
  • No automated decision-making or profiling.
  • No transfer of data outside the EU/EEA without an adequacy decision.

If we change this notice materially, we will email everyone who submitted with their stated intent before applying the change. This notice is dated 2026-05-27.
